Princess Mononoke -
Okkoto Puppet
From my Princess Mononoke design scheme, I produced my design for Okkoto the boar god. To construct such a large character I had to think beyond conventional costuming and incorporate puppetry into the costume, resulting in a 2m tall, wearable puppet.
This ancient forest ruling god has tussled fur, rugged tusks and mossy patches covering his face and body.
