The Nightmare Before Christmas - Sally

From my Nightmare Before Christmas Design Scheme I produced the costume for Sally, the reconstructed porcelain doll turned housewife figure for Dr Finklestein. The character has been mended and patched back together over time and wears a cheerful yellow dress to reflect her kind and selfless personality in the story. Her dress is inspired by 1950s housewife fashion with floral prints and a dainty apron, all of which is worn down by time, mould and mildew.
